Paris wedding photographer
Who am I?
Finding your wedding photographer can make any obstacle course seem easy in comparison, especially as we are a lot of wedding photographers in Paris, or France even! Add to that that if you’re reading this in english, you probably don’t live here and you end up in quite a pickle! So here is a little bit more info on who I am, as I’m a firm believer that connecting with your photographer and picking someone you’re comfortable with is as important as photographic style. It will add to the day and to the pictures!
So here I am, Elodie, a parisian-tunisian-sicilian-bretonne mix (yeah that’s quite a mouthful). So here I am, Elodie, a parisian-tunisian-sicilian-bretonne mix (yeah that’s quite a mouthful). Growing up I had one passion: music, particularly the UK scene. It’s quite naturally that I moved to London aged 20, and couldn’t believe my luck when I found a job in the music industry. Over the years I got to meet and handle many fascinating characters, a job where human interaction was there again the most important factor for me. Or second most, right after all the free Champagne.
And then travels found me, and they never let me go: I am particularly fond of the arctic, its beauty and fragility, yet was also lucky to go to crazy places like Vanuatu or Botswana. Travelling made me more aware of subjects I had no or little clue about such as illegal wildlife trade or climate change (yes, one can travel and be a climate change advocate)
Hence why I try and document the beauty of our planet when I can.
I don’t know if anything can me more beautiful than watching the northern lights dancing in the sky.
What kind of wedding photographer am I?
Being part of your special day is what I love the most about my job: it’s a privilege to take part into this very intimate moment that will add to your family history and to capture all those moments that you may not even see yourself. I love to feel that morning stress during prep, to dive into the party in the evening, and to watch out for that contagious laugh your cousin is so famous for.
But most importantly I want to offer you YOUR memories, of YOUR day. Of course each photographer has their style, and their favourite situations, but for me it’s important that you also recognise your day, as you chose to live it, in the final gallery. I always aim at meeting up around a drink to discuss your forthcoming wedding (also because I’m biased to a glass of wine!) or do a skype call for people who are further: it’s important that characters match as I will be the closest thing you will have to you on your special day – getting along, laughing together will make your pictures that bit nicer. Also knowing you better helps me anticipate your reactions better too!
If this sounds like we could be a match, and you’re looking for a wedding photographer in Paris, in one of our beautiful regions, or even somewhere like Lapland, then do get in touch so we can discuss your destination wedding or elopement in France! Can’t wait to hear from you!
